As obligate carnivores, cats have a physiological need to eat meat, not plants. Tiki Cat Born Carnivore mimics cats' natural prey diets with high levels of animal-based protein. This recipe provides optimal nutrition for healthy growth. Give your natural born hunter what they want and need for their growing bodies. High protein from real, high-quality chicken and easily digestible egg, DHA to support healthy brain and eye development and fiber for digestive support.
We also recommend a mixed carnivore meal. Protein from animal sources is a cat's #1 need, but cats have 2 additional needs that can be fulfilled by adding Tiki Cat wet toppers: 1) Start with the perfect complete and balanced Born Carnivore high protein dry food. 2) Add a wet topper for hydration and variety. Cats have a naturally low thirst drive and need extra moisture in their diet. In the wild, cats ate a variety of protein sources, benefiting from different nutrients.
