    DESCRIPTION

    While ultraviolet radiation can be harmful to humans, reptiles need UVA and UVB to thrive in their environment, and this Thrive 3-in-1 Mercury Vapor Bulb provides both. In terms of UVA, this long-wavelength light (320-400 nm) helps maintain reptile vision and benefits overall health. In addition, UVA bulbs help provide the radiant heat that your ectothermic pet requires. In terms of UVB, this medium-wavelength light (290-320 nm) promotes calcium absorption and healthy bones. And it spurs production of vitamin D, just like sunlight (but without radiant heat). Only at PetSmart.
